Fyne Court.

The other weekend we went to Fyne Court for an explore. There are lots of different walks you can choose around the forgotten garden, going through fields, the forest and small village. It was a cold, foggy day, which added to the feeling of exploring a forgotten, abandoned garden.

A few weeks ago we visited Stourhead to see the leaves before they all dropped to the ground. We were lucky, there were some gorgeous colours to be seen, and most of the leaves were still on their trees. Stourhead is a great place to wander around, with some cute little buildings and bridges, and little hidden caves and surprises!

Cornwall: Part 3.

I know, you probably didn't think I could have taken any more photos on such a short trip, but I did! Here is the final part of my Cornish adventure (sneak peeks, part 1, and part 2 were earlier this week). For our final adventure we visited Lanhydrock (so autumnal, and empty!), did a part of the Camel walk, and took a short trip through Bodmin (mysterious, I can see how it could be creepy in the mist, all empty).

Cornwall: Part 2.

Here is the second part of my Cornwall trip (you can also find sneak peeks and part 1). We visited Padstow (but couldn't find a fish & chip shop open!), Bedruthan Steps (absolutely amazing, couldn't believe I was in the UK) and a beach near Newquay. It was amazing to be outside and see so much, I just felt so happy all weekend (I know, cheesy, but true!).

Cornwall: part 1.

I've split my Cornwall trip into 3 parts (plus sneak peek shared here) because I went to so many places, I thought it may get a little confusing otherwise. First off, we went to Fowey (which was really cute, lots of small winding streets, and lovely harbour views), Looe (some amazing colours on the hidden beach) and Port Issac (a great traditional village). Although it we visited in November, we were actually pretty lucky with the weather - cold, but not too rainy! Also, as it was out of season, the places we visited weren't to busy. They seemed really traditional and peaceful, it was really easy to imagine Port Issac as a fishing villages years ago, full of smuggling and mystery (that may be all the Famous Five I read as a child!).

Cornwall Adventure.

So last weekend I had an adventure which I mentioned in this post; I went to Cornwall for the weekend! We stayed near Padstow, and packed in a lot of adventuring, we saw a lot. So, of course, I have a lot of photos to share. Here is just a sneak peek of what we did, I will have more to share later in the week. There was so much to see, and loads of gorgeous views, it was my first proper trip to Cornwall, and it was lovely! Have you ever been to Cornwall? Or did you have an adventure of your own this weekend?

Eat Read Watch Need.

Lately I've been feeling the effects of Autumn - lots of wanting to wrap up warm inside with some comfort food! I saw these pumpkin chocolate bars the other day, they seem a great way to eat pumpkin, plus they have 'healthy' in the title! Recipe here. After soup I get a bit stuck with what to do with pumpkin, any other ideas?
Judging by the books I want to read next, I think its safe to say I'm still pining for Summer a little, especially my trip to Spain.
I also want to watch a Summery film, I've been meaning to watch this classic for a long time, so hopefully I will get around to it soon! Have you seen it?
And, after pay day, I'm looking forward to treating myself to a heatech top from the Orla Kiely and Uniqlo collaboration.

I'm taking a long weekend off to relax and have some adventures! I should be back on Monday with some fun new things and to share and more about the weekend adventures! What are your plans for the weekend?

Eat, Read, Read, Watch, Need all found at these links.

Wool & The Gang.

You may remember seeing a peek at some chunky looking knitting in this post a few weeks ago. Well I can finally reveal all! I've knitted some hats for Wool & The Gang, an awesome company based in London who are all about handcrafted, knitted fashion. Feel free to check out their website here. It was lovely to knit with such good quality wool (I used this 100% peruvian wool - so soft!) and it's so exciting to see my hats for sale on the website! If you want to buy them you can find the red stripes here and the khaki stripes here. And see a bunch more pieces knitted by the gang here.

Sketchbook Sunday.

This week my drawing was inspired by my Peace Lily, which I forgot to water for a while, ending up with some dried leafy flowers which have some pretty interesting shapes! Have you done any drawing lately? I want to try and use some different materials next week, I am pretty stuck in my watercolour and Japanese pen ways!

October Moodboard.

I found out about the monthly nature moodboard on Caroline's blog yesterday (you can see her October moodboard here) and decided to join in. I created a colour palette from October photos I have shared, and I sneaked in a few of the more unusual October colours. It is a fun month for nature, with everything changing for Autumn.
If you want to see more you can visit KarinPolly and Asa to see their boards, as well as Caroline's. Or make your own, I'd love to see!
